The first three days of this course (July 6th – 8th) comprise of virtual face-to-face online sessions (9.30 – 2.30) via Microsoft Teams. You will have received an invite to join the course Team by email, please follow the instructions contained to join the live workshops.

The role of coding and STEAM within the Irish primary curriculum

• Group challenge in channels: After being given a subject area, can you now plan a lesson that includes an unplugged activity, maker challenge and coding that assists you in reaching an objective within a strand unit.

11:30- 12:00 – BREAK

12:00- 1:15 – Complete team challenge

1:15- 2:00 Present curriculum lessons back to entire group
