I agree, Alan. Well said.
I agree 100%, Julie. It is so vital to be able to stand up in front of your peers and present your work.
Great stuff Alan and Onra. Why don’t ye learn together, Onra? Code.org or Scratch is the natural follow on from Blockly. On both websites there are step by step lessons easily accessible via the websites.
Brilliant, Kim. Such a great use of Google Slides. Why don’t ye sign up to Google Workspace for Education. Every school can sign up for free, all you need is a school domain. Then every pupil could have their own email address (as their login) and the Admin could switch off email. This is normal practice in primary schools. Happy to give you further advice if you need it, Kim. Just let me know on Thursday when we start Day 4.
Will definitely be checking out Mathigon, Anna.
It’s amazing, Noelle, how quickly analogue becomes strange for pupils!
Great work Kitty and Noelle.
Great work, Elaine. Delighted you can see how you would use and who you would use the resources with.
Brilliant, Aine. Delighted that you can see the potential. Rem he/she could also use the extensions Read and Write for Google Chrome and Open Dyslexic font to help with the writing process.
Delighted ye are all finding Toy Theater so useful. I was equally impressed yesterday to be introduced to it’s sister website “Class Playground” I can’t remember who suggested it but it’s every bit as good as Toy Theater.
