That is a great plan Ciara and one that parents can get involved with also as they need a certain level of education around the appropriateness of certain content their children may be accessing online.
I agree with you also on the webwise resources, they are very good and resonate with the children also.
Very good points on communication Conor. AI is a great tool also to prepare a communication in multiple languages at the same time based on your school diversity.
I couldn’t agree more Niamh. It is a great way to summarise a document and create a presentation for whole staff also!
Having been a principal of a 2 teacher school I feel you definitely got a good response to that prompt. Very good use of RASE!
Solid use of the RASE Framework Donal and very specific in what you asked.
Great effort on you Digital Learning Plan Padraig and maybe Google Forms will help you as part of the Baseline Surveys next year…work smarter not harder: ) I agree also on Dr Deirdre Butler, very realistic outlook on how children should be engaged.
Great points made and I always feel it is good to keep in mind ‘creation’ over ‘absorption’ when using ICT throughout the school. When this is the focus there is meaningful learning taking place.
That is a very solid plan Eilis and one that can be used as a great template annually and easily tweaked! Well done.
A great summary Carol and the examples given clearly outline the children actively and critically involved in the learning process as opposed to ‘cognitive absorption’.
Hi everyone, great work so far. If we can please upload as attachments sample Digital Learning Plans using the word template available at dlplanning.ie to keep the forum clear. Sample template attached also
