Wordwall is a great site, it has a wealth of ready-made resources to use and once you find or create the topic that you are focusing on you can have a choice of a variety of games presenting the same information.  I have used this site quite a bit and the children love it, especially the Pac-Man game.  Definitely check it out.

I think the ‘thoughts about school’ is really important not just for SET but for the whole class. We used it this year in all of 2nd class. We identified a child who had really low self-esteem in regard to his appearance. He does not display this openly; he is very academic and is a pleasant and friendly child. From this, we had a meeting with Mum and she was able to fill us in further with regards to his struggles over his body image. As this was near the summer holidays, we, as the SET team, have discussed a plan of action that will be implemented in Sept. We also plan to repeat the whole class ‘thoughts about school’ in every 2nd class and in every 4th class going forward.

I agree, having the work online.  We don’t have Seesaw but we take pictures and we load it as a document into the child’s profile on Aladdin.  It is really good to view the children’s progression as everything is saved in one place and all teachers can access it

Thanks for sharing mathigon, looks great as a teacher’s tool but also I have a child on my caseload who is gifted. There are lots of games that he would be interested in in the activities section.
