I understand what you mean about the UDL approach being time consuming at the start – I think we need to invest time into preparing choices and options at the beginning but once established I feel it will be more efficient in the classroom. Part of the UDL approach is just allowing yourself to think flexibly which is half the battle and clearly your school has already started that which is great.

Totally agree about building assessment into the day – really practical for busy infant classes!
