I agree, the use of emojis are understood in every language. They will be of great support to pupils with literacy difficulties, EAL or pupils who prefer to use visual aids.

Delighted to hear you are finding the course content of benefit. Yes, the SheffKids is an excellent resource for one page profiles. I have found it of particular benefit when staff are absent and there is a need to provide a thorough overview in a short space of time.

Many thanks for your post to the forum. Love the idea of the visual checklist to support/scaffold Leo to be able to organise himself independently. Using tools such as AFLS to assess a pupil’s independent living skills is useful in identifying areas of need.
